Main Characters

Tyrian Dhumravarna (ティリアン・デュームラバーナ)

A somewhat naïve young man who seems to know almost nothing and doesn't remember anything from before the day he suddenly woke up in the middle of an inexplicable, chaotic world with an unfamiliar dragon trapped inside him. All he does know is that teapots probably shouldn't be levitating and pigeons don't usually wear red bandannas with hammers and sickles on them... and he seems to be the only one who thinks things like that are the least bit weird. Puzzled, he's decided to look into who and what's responsible for the current state of things and try to stop that party if at all possible.

Anyokurou (暗翊竜、アンヨクロウ)

The shady, mysterious dragon somehow bound inside Tyrian by an unknown force. It's not entirely clear who he is or where he came from, but for some reason he's extremely misanthropic, moody, and ponderous, and seems to especially hate anyone who's impractical or irrational (or even just a little slow). He can, however, sympathise with the few who go to the trouble of trying to understand him.

Kazahiko (カザヒコ)

An unfortunate lad who believes with all his heart that his destiny is to become a great hero like his late father, but can never manage to do anything heroic no matter how hard he tries. The rest of his village has always seen his attempts to deliver them from animals as laughable at best, and the one time the village was actually attacked by a so-called 'dragon', he ran and hid. He still can't get over the shame he felt after he found out that it was only a winged crocodile.

Amperius Voltaire III (アンペリウス=ヴォルテール=III)

A somewhat imposing military man from a dismal land whose skies are dark year round. Dignified yet reserved, he has few real friends due to his general distrust of people—and perhaps the fact he possesses a powerful electric touch that can knock them senseless should they try anything. Although he can be quite tempestuous and likes to deal out death threats rather quickly, he does have a humanitarian side deep down, and in fact dreams of world peace.

Qamar (カマール)

Rather taciturn, mysterious, and sneaky; often hangs back behind the others and rarely says anything most of the time (unless there's something he finds especially amusing, at which time he won't hesitate to spontaneously make a humorous but often awkward remark). Both he and his Whiskered especially like the light of nighttime, when their true abilities come out much better.

Jyr (ユル)

Pronounced close to "your"... supposedly he's the head of the notorious organisation responsible for distorting reality (the "Artifices Absurditatum"), and the so-called "Father of Subjectivism". However, very few people have seen him in person, and even most of the organisation's members have no clue where he is. Finding him sure isn't going to be easy.

Meiromelechus (マイロメーレカス)

A magnificent unicorn with a radiant horn and almost unlimited powers when it comes to altering the world around him. However, as nearly unlimited powers can get kind of boring, he's decided to share them with the Artifices in exchange for a godlike status at the centre of their organisation. Now, as their grand "radiant king", he feels quite content to kick back in his own private garden while watching the world go to pieces in the reflection from the pond.

Honou von Jogann (ホノウ・フォン・ヨーガン)

A highly devoted member of the Artifices whose principal hobby is to support their cause throughout the world with bizarre TV commercials, ridiculous propaganda posters, and all kinds of silly promotional events to raise loyalty and spirit among its members, among other things. He tries so hard to be the primary spokesman and advocate of a new era of Artifex grandeur, but although Jyr appreciates the free advertising, the truth is that he actually finds it faintly embarrassing and wouldn't miss this guy at all if he decided to quit.
